Well, another week has passed so quickly. We hope to hear by the end of this week that our home study update has been formally approved. Once we have this approval, we will be sent the formal child acceptance paper work. We hope and pray that we are able to then get an appointment with the USCIS for fingerprinting in a few weeks after that.

It is strange to me that time seems to race along in one respect, yet take so long in another.
We saw Dan Bee's waiting child info. in Jan. 2008 and began to ask questions about her. Here is is five months later. We are many steps closer to having her home, but we still have many more to go.

Would you please join in prayer with us that the rest of this process will go very quickly? She will turn 1 at the end of this month. We obviously want her to come home ASAP, but we also know that God has a plan and a purpose, even in the waiting.

We still have to raise $20,000 or more to complete her adoption. Even if she is ready to come home, she cannot until all of the fees are paid. These are trying financial times for everyone, so we are relying on God's faithfulness to provide for this in some way. Would you also please join us in praying that God will provide the rest of the money for her adoption? We really cannot afford any more debt at this time. We are praying and believing that God will provide adoption grants and possibly touch some individuals' hearts to help with this need. We believe that God has put the call to adopt into some families hearts, but not the financial means to complete it. We also believe that God has blessed others with financial means but not the call or desire to adopt. We are trusting that God will join the two parties together to accomplish His ultimate goal...placing orphans into forever families where they can be loved and learn of our Savior Jesus Christ.
