Well, I said that I would try to post at least once a week. I did not post over the last two weeks because we have been very wrapped up getting ready for high school graduation of our oldest daughter. We worked like crazy to get our house and yard ready for approx 50 guest following the graduation. We were also trying to make it to the end of school.
Update: We had our homestudy visit last Wendesday, May 14, 2008. It will be just one visit since it is an update. The social worker said that she would try to have copy to us for review by the end of this week. We will update you on the process of this.
On another note: WE ARE DEEPLY SADDENED BY THE STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN FAMILY TRAGEDY
We feel a very strong connection to them as we were one of the first families to receive an adoption grant from their foundation in late 2002. We even had the opportunity to spend the day with him one time. Our family is deeply saddened about this terrible tragedy. It has reminded us that life is very fragile and we much make the most of every moment. Jintry might not have even been able to join our family if it had not been for the grant from the Chapman Family. Jintry and this little girl are the same age, so you can only imagine how profoundly this has touched our hearts. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for this family.

There are just no words for something like this. We have to say, "Lord hold this family at this time."
Here is a special blog site in memory of precious Maria Sue Chapman
